An Indian wedding is recognized for its vibrant and bright colors. A dash of color and shine enhances the auspiciousness of the occasion.

For the garba outfit, Khushboo chose a bright shade of yellow. While Akhil complemented her colors with navy blue. For the wedding ceremony, Khushboo and Akhil wore red/white outfits. The color red is commonly associated with love and passion; the color of life - a new life. Therefore, wearing red during the Hindu wedding stands for prosperity and fertility. A white veil symbolizes purity, peace, cleanliness, and wisdom. And that was the color choice for the bride's reception gown.
